Some rules of Right Form of Verb

Rule-01. Singular Subject = Singular Verd, Plural Subject = Plural Verb.
Example :
Rafiq is a honest man.
Vehicles create traffic jam.

Rule-02. After preposition(in, at, on, of, for, from, by, with, without, before, after, into, about,..etc) except 'to' + noun or verb-ing.
Example :
Children are fond of using mobile phone.
The necessity of learning English is increasable.

Rule-03. The + noun or verb-ing + of
Example :
The using of mobile is available.

Rule-04. Modal verb(can, could, may, might, shall, should, will, would, must) + verb1.
Example :
He can do the sum.
It may rain today.

Rule-05. While + verb-ing.
Example :
While walking along the road, I saw him.
While sleeping I dreamt a good dream.

Rule-06. In passive voice always use verb3.
Example :
The event will be arranged by him.

Rule-07. (Who, whose, whom, which, that) follow only their before subject to choose a verb.
Example :
It is you who are my friend.

Rule-08. Prefer to + verb-ing.
Example :
I prefer to reading books.
He prefer to playing football.

Rule-09. Distance/money/time + singular verb.
Example :
Thirty miles is a long way.
One thousand taka is not enough.

Rule-10. It is high time /wish + past indefinite sentence.
Example :
It si high time, we met.
I wish I could fly.

Rule-11. Past indefinite tense + since + past perfect tense.
Example :
Many years passed since I had seen her last.

Rule-12. Present indefinite or present perfect tense + since + present perfect tense.
Example :
It is many years since I went to Rangpur.

Rule-13. No sooner had.....than; Scarcely had......when; Hardly had...... before/when.
(1st verb = verb3....2nd verb = verb2)
Example :
No sooner had he seen the police than he ran away.

Rule-14. (As if, as though, wish) + to be verb always were.
Example :
I wish I were a king.
